Philips CR8D8NB25 CD-R 800 MB ... the years I have purchased several packs of these CD-R s which I have used for backing up data and creating music CD s. They are CD-R discs which means they can only be written to once and then cannot be changed or added to. Processing/Quality: I have never experienced poor quality music or scratches of any of the new CD s I have bought, which retail at around £5 a pack which works out to be 20p per CD-R. The handy thing is with these discs is that they come in a handy spindle which can be used afterwards to store the CD s and as I don t make hundreds of CD s the 25 pack is fine. Memorex CD-R 700 MB 52x ... use a lot of CD-Rs, DVD-R s and DL DVD-R s with backing up work, folders, projects and archiving data. Over the last 10 years I have used a variety of CD-R s from the very first 80min ones out in 1998, unbranded gold and silver disks, 90min CD-Rs for those special over burn moments. The good ole days when you had to struggle to get all that data on a CD. One brand I found extremely useful and reliable through all CD Readers whether a CD Drive was revision 1 1.5 or 2. (essentially very early cd readers couldn;t read cd-rs, then they made improvements and only decent quality branded cd-rs could be read (unbranded couldn t) and then the latest version that can read any ty... Lacie LightScribe DVD+R 4.7 GB 8x ... have always hated disk labels - they use up quite a bit of ink in your printer, you need to keep on adjusting the print settings to take into account the different paper type, it costs extra money for the label themselves, plus the software that comes with the printer to print the labels usually annoy me in their simplicity.
