In my opinion TDK DVD+R DVDs are fantastic and are the best recordable DVDs out there. The quality of these discs are top notch because they playback perfectly and I have never had any problems with them. I mainly use them to record programmes off sky because you can fit on a number of programmes onto one 4.7 GB disc. When recording programmes you can choose the recording mode that best suits you; the shorter the time, the better the quality. The recording modes are Fine (1hour), Standard Play (2hours), Long Play (4 hours), and Extended Play (6 hours).
