TGI Fridays ... like American Diners and TGI Friday s is no exception. I ate at the Cheshire Oaks diner last night with my daughter and son in law. We opted for the two courses for £9.99 deal. There are about six starters, mains and desserts to choose from for that particular deal, so we were more than happy and all found something we liked. The girl who greeted us was very pleasant and quickly got us seated at a clean and tidy table. The large restaurant was about half full with three seperate groups there to celebrate a birthday. Domino's Pizza ... am addicted to pizza. Fact. I take it very very seriously. I think everyone else should too, and give pizza the proper respect it deserves. That s why I don t know what to make of Dominos anymore. I will put something of a disclaimer on this review by saying I don t eat meat and therefore I am choosing to ignore the meat section of the menu. No doubt someone else will have reviewed that anyway. I find the vegetarian selection on their menu rather disappointing. I will say for them that you can obviously pick and mix and create your own, but they have special one off pizzas for meat eaters all the time (with ingredients that often do not feature in the create your ow... Subway ... I originally thought that if you were going to treat yourself to a takeaway that this would be the obvious healthy choice however recent press and tv shows have advised that the salt content is really dangerously high in some of their subs. According to the recent tv documentary on pre-packed and made to order sandwiches my normal choice of sub the 12" meatball marinara would be more than my daily allowance of salt in one go !! It really opened my eyes. But then I started thinking that perhaps they are giving subway a bit of a slating over the salt content without picking up on their good points.
