... are hardly the Kings of the food industry, but they do at least have a cleaner conscience and less-tarnished reputation than the likes of McDonalds. I don t buy them much because they re so obviously greasy and fatty (even moreso than McD s), but they have branched out a lot since their inception and have a lot more alternatives to just some hunks of soaking meat in a bucket. Pizza Hut ... absolutely love pizza, and although recently I ve been won over by the ridiculous amount of deals that Domino s have been offering, Pizza Hut is still the way to go if you re going out and want a surprisingly classy, if not so healthy, night out. Pizza Hut is the most famous and popular pizza restaurant chain in the entire world, and not without good reason. The stores have a sort of retro look to them that I find quite alluring ,and everything is lit with minimalist, almost romantic lighting, which is refreshing when compared to the high lighting of stores like McDonalds and Domino s. McDonald's ... is an absolute behemoth of a fast food chain. It has endured close scrutiny and controversy for both its trading practises and the low nutritional value of its food. However, it is a cultural phenomenon and is known in virtually every country in the world. To most sensible people, it is the odd guilty pleasure, and much like alcohol, we all KNOW that it s bad for us, so to blame McDonalds to me seems to be rather silly. You don t HAVE to buy it, regardless of what new-age science might say about fast food addiction. Henderson's ... is a well known vegetarian restaurant in Hanover street about 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre serving fantastic food in a relaxed atmosphere. There are two sections in the restaurant, downstairs is a relaxed restaurant with canteen service ideal for lunchtime dining with friends. The bistro is upstairs and is more formal, I have never visited this section but it sounds like it would be good for a romantic meal or a more formal occasion.
