Tai Tung Chinese Restaurant ... Being back in the UK has enabled me to indulge in all the things I have missed. Chinese food in the Netherlands is pretty nondescript and so it s with considerable relief that I m able to have this again. One place of note is a restaurant inside the Wing Yup complex in Croydon which does excellent dim sum on a Sunday. For Londoners who like dim sum but who don t want to fight their way into the West end at weekends, this might just be what you re looking for. Pizza Express ... Express was the first chain of Pizzerias to open in UK, in the sixties, and they do reflect their origin in their slightly hippy logo, with all those flowers. Pizza Express have many outlets in London and this review is based on my visit to the ones in the West End, in Liverpool Street and Angel. I normally go for their Pizza La Reine, with a bit of ham and mushrooms, it costs 7.45. The cheapest is the Margherita at 5.50, and the most expensives can go up to 9 Pounds. The size is not that great, and the base is medium thin, verging on the thick. I prefer the thinner bases, but they only do it with certain combinations and they charge more. I normally have my P... Tebay Services (England) ... travelled up and down the country a lot in recen, I have stopped at various service stations in my time, and I have to say that Tebay is one of the best. I stopped off at the service station near the Lake District last year, and I didnt want to leave. Maybe that seems a bit exaggerated but it is truely great. I had heard rumours about it and thats why I stopped. The food in this place is asolutely brilliant, I couldnt fault it.
