Advantages: prime locations

Disadvantages: everything else

Despite somehow having cornered many of the prime retail sites in the city, no self-respecting Londoner would be seen dead eating at this execrable chain. The poor quality food, unironic 1970s decor and well-meaning but underpaid staff (many of whom have little more than a basic grasp of English) are a throwback to the bad old days when British food was an international joke. If you want good steak, try any of the Chez Gerard chain or, better, the superb Arkansas Cafe in Spitalfields Market, La Pampa Grill near Clapham Junction or the Popeseye Steak House in Olympia.
