I have just returned from a very civilised afternoon at the Athenaeum Hotel, in Piccadilly, London. Some of you may have read my previous ops on Afternoon tea in general in London, and on Afternoon Tea at the Lanesborough Hotel at Hyde Park, and will already know that I have had great trouble in finding many venues where one can take tea in a civilised manner, as in days of yore.
