We noted that the Anne of Cleves had a very authentic old fashioned feel to it with oak beams and dainty looking crockery. On a recent weekend away in Totes, Devon, we had a few hours wandering around Totnes town centre and decided to try out this delightful looking restaurant and tea room named Anne of Cleves. The cakes displayed in the window looked REALLY inviting and we decided to pop in for some tea and scones/cakes. ~TOTNES WHO?~ For those of you who've no idea where Totnes is, it's a small market town near the River Dart in Devon. It's about 20 miles from Exeter.
