According to the Burger Monkey blog Automat serves the best bugers in London. And as something of a burger conoissieur myself, I felt I had to try one! The restaurant is tucked down a quiet little side street in Mayfair, and from the front appears tobe very small. But as you go through, it opens right up and is actually much larger than first thought. It is in the style of an America diner/bistro. With a few seats at the bar, some booths and some small tables it is really cute. The decor is plain but inviting, and classic.
