I am writing to inform you of the changes which have happened to the Axe and Compass in recent weeks.
The Axe and Compass has been taken over by new management bringing in, a brand new menu with fresh and exciting new dishes all from fresh local produce. The dishes are all cooked to order with new specials being added weekly. All dishes can be modified to your liking just by asking a member of staff when ordering.

Food is served all day 12-9pm with Sundays finishing at 8pm.

The menu on Sunday changes depending on what type of meat we have available from the butcher for that weekend.

A fresh, new style of service and comfort with table service and large open fires has been added. Spacious areas for large groups or small cosy outlets for that romantic evening out.
We have a wide variety of Real Ales, including local guest Ales, a brand new wine list and a choice of some great Lagers and Ciders.

Free Wi-Fi is also available for all, with a great incentive of free refills on your coffee when ordered.
