Bar Med is a pleasant bar/eaterie/mini disco hybrid, serving various types of Spanish and English food. It isn't quite authentic, in the way "Le Tasca" tries to be; instead it adopts bright orange walls, tiled flooring and an irrtating sun logo which flashes on t.v. screen situatuated inside the building. I visited the Manchester Deansgate branch of Bar Med on Saturday. I thought the food was excellent and very reasonable. I shared the Chicken and Seafood Paella with a friend and our other friend had the Tuna Steak. I tried some and it was delicious. I huge piece of steak that would have cost a fortune in a Supermarket. The service was very friendly and quick and the drinks were reasonable. I will definitely be paying a visit again soon and recommend it to anyone who likes good food.
