We had a late lunch at Bella Pasta today in Birmingham today thanks to converting my Tesco Clubcard vouchers. When we arrived we were meeting very quickly and although it appeared busy we were found a table for four of us. There was myself, husband, 5 year old and 2 year old. We were quickly brought menus and an activity ...  Read the complete review

While a Bella Italia can be found in many different areas of Britain, and really I can't remember the last time I visited a new place without walking past one, it doesn't necessarily mean it's a wise choice for dining. Although I will elaborate below, I would say that in short it's overpriced, mass produced and highly overrated ...  Read the complete review

We visited Bella Italia in Sheffield last night for a pre-cinema meal. It's only the 2nd time I've been to a Bella Italia (the first been around a year ago in Birmingham) and to be honest, I have mixed opinions about it. Bella Italia is a fairly standard Italian restaurant serving almost exclusively Italian food and drinks - pizzas, ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Bella Italia in General

we went to the new Bella Italia at the Lowry Centre in Salford. Big mistake; twenty minutes before anyone turned up with the menu, a waitress who didn't know what was on the menu then the drinks arrived after another ten minute wait. The cool and refreshing blood orange drink turned out to be a can of sweetened, flavoured water - for £2 a throw! There were four or five serving in a near empty restaurant and they all ignored us! Even when ASKED for the menu! Nobody knew what they were doing. We decided to give it a miss and left and no one even asked us why? Totally unprofessional.

Bella Italia is a basic Italian restaurant chain. It does everything you would expect it to; pizza, pasta dishes, lasagne, steaks, salads, etc etc. The menu is great and there is going to be something for everyone. You could quite happily take family and friends alike to this restaurant and be safe in the knowledge that everyone could ...  Read the complete review

We went to the one in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol - a relative's choice for her birthday, as personally, having had a few bad experiences at this type of eatery when I lived in Clifton, I tend to avoid Itallian restaurants like the plague. I thought my cries of 'please god not Frankie and Bennys, for pity's sake' would've given her the general ...  Read the complete review

My first visit to a Bella Italia was a couple of weeks after returning from a holiday at Lake Como. My 10 year old son was very impressed that he could use his newly aquired snatches of Italian as the waitress greeted us in Italian, he spent the meal throwing in what few words and phrases he had picked up in Italy!! Bella Italia is a ...  Read the complete review

I'm a big fan of Italian food and dine out a lot (at least once per week) both for business and leisure but suprisingly I had never been to a Bella Italia. Last month my boyfriend and I visited London and rather than book a table somewhere we went for drinks in Leicester Square and then decided the night would "go with the ...  Read the complete review

We went to Bella Italia near Leicester Square in London for lunch, having wandered the streets of Covent Garden trying to find somewhere that would cater for our two year old son's demands for 'spaghetti'. There was a sign on the window suggesting they had a 'Menu Bambini' but no sign of this menu on the boards outside the restaurant - however, we ...  Read the complete review

Bella Italia are a nation wide chain of Italian restaurants and their offering is fairly typical of a chain restaurant, they are a bit more upmarket than your standard Pizza Hut style restaurant as they have a greater range of food options rather than just pizza and pasta however they are alos well done from a top notch Italian restaurant which ...  Read the complete review

For anyone who hasn't come across Bella Italia before, it is a chain of Italian restaurants that are in most cities and large towns across Britain. Until a few years ago it used to be called Bella Pasta. - Setting - I've been to several Bella Italia restaurants, and they are all quite similar inside with bright colours and a ...  Read the complete review

I first stumbled across a Bella Italia restaurant in Blackpool during a spontaneous car trip from London with my boyfriend, which is a bit ridiculous as there are millions of Bella Italia's scattered in and around London. Our car trip was a bit of a disaster as we didn't quite realise just how long it takes to get to Blackpool from London, then ...  Read the complete review

Bella Italia is an Italian restaurant usually found in city or quite urban locations. In my experience there's either more than necessary or too few - I've never seen one anywhere near the town/city I grew up in or the town I currently live but there are at least 2 in Nottingham city centre. Bella Italia is reasonably priced for a ...  Read the complete review

On my recent trip to London we had to find somewhere to eat on the Saturday night. We decided to go to Bella Italia as there are quite a few in London and it was great that there were quite a few right by our hotel. ~*~ Bella Italia ~*~ I am a massive Italian food fan - pizza, pasta, lasagne, ravioli, I love it all! This is a chain of Italian resturants across the country. I have only been to the ones in Southampton and Leeds so my review will be on my experience of those two. I am a big fan of Bella Italia having visited their restaurants around England.
