Bibendum

This modern and funky restaurant on the Fulham Road, London, is instamntly recognised from the outside. As with The Oxo Tower, bibendum managed to get themselves into a great land-mark London building - The Michelin Building, hence there logo being a large white mummy-looking figure riding a bicycle (for those old enough to recognise the Michelin Man). This is without doubt one of the best restuarants in London. The food is absolutely fantastic, although it tends to be on the heavy side for lunch. There is a good mixture of traditional and modern European dishes, and the menu changes regularly, so there is plenty of variety. That said, there is always fish and chips on the menu for those who can't find anything else they like. And very good fish and chips it is too! The service is impeccable and the room is spacious, light and airy with a stained glass window at one end.
