Big EasyNewest Review: ... seems to encourage everyone to smile a lot more (or is that the cocktails?). Prices are reasonable, so it's just a question of getting 8 or 10 of you togethere and go on down to the Big Easy for a good time. I will add here though, that I have once had a coat stolen from here, so look after your things or use the cloakroom provided... but, having said this, it has not deterred me from ... more |

The Big Easy is on the King's Rd, near World's End, by the Bluebird restaurant. It's a great place for people looking for a fun time. You don't just go for the food, which although is perfectly good, you really go there more to get a bunch of people together, have a few jugs of 'sex on the beach' or 'margaritas', some good burgers and the 'live music' (downstairs). It's really the music and cocktails which gives this place the character it has... firstly it's loud enough to get the room buzzing, but not so loud that conversation is hard to follow.
