Advantages: tasty prepared food and drinks
Disadvantages: messy tables , very busy
I used to work in Boston Tea Party in Bristol. Before that I loved it, but I suppose when you have too much of a good thing, it's possible that you can begin to hate it.
This particular branch is huge, there is a big multi levelled garden and two floors inside where you can enjoy such a large range of coffee and teas. The staff who make the coffee have really been well trained and you aren't getting any rubbish at all. They do not let any incompetent people near those machines! As for the teas, there is such a variety, there is certainly something for everyone. Even I, who hates tea, found something I liked.
There is such a big range of homemade cakes, biscuits and tarts that you will also find something to go with your drinks. They are really sickly, but so good! If you want something more substantial you can get warm food such as a burger or panini and this is all quite reasonably priced and freshly prepared (I should know!).
The staff at Boston Tea Party change quite a lot but they always remain friendly, polite and helpful. They are also very quick at operating the tills which is a must because the place is absolutely swarming at lunchtimes. The tables sometimes remain unclear for great lengths of time when it's busy because they can be understaffed. The toilets could also do with a more thorough clean at times.
All in all it's a good place for some lunch, a snack or just a up of tea but probably not a main meal.
Summary: fab place to try out if you've never been!
