The first date my other half and I went on was to this lovely little Flaunden pub/restaurant. I wasn't sure where he was taking me at first as I lived about a 20 minute drive from him and then the restaurant was another 15 minutes from his house and he went along the back roads which was all farms and single tracks. These are not the only routes so not to fear you can travel like normal people and on normal sized roads. I'm from the US, Lived here many many years but even still the size of a single track road in my head is terrifying and I think it's the American in me that thinks roads (and most things) should be bigger!
