Newest Review: ... before we'd even reached there by an irate employee shouting that we shouldn't have got out of the coach as they weren't ready for us, I pointed out that the coach couldn't get into the car park and that as we were on a main road and only ten minutes early it seemed the more logical solution.After more verbal abuse by the employee, who appeared was our meeter and greeter we were let into the outside smoking area to wait till they were ready. I took a party of 34 OAP's for their Christmas outing yesterday to Bridges. Some of us hadn't been before. On arrival the coach we were in had difficulty entering the car park (the driver hadn't been before either) so dropped us off from the main road probably ten minutes before our scheduled arrival time. We all trooped up to the restaurant for our meal. I FIRST WENT TO BRIDGES IN 2007 ON A TRIP WITH PEOLE OF A ""CERTAIN AGE"" I THOUGHT ""THIS WILL BE FUN"" AND YES IT WAS FUN, I HAD THE BEST AFTERNOON I HAD EVER HAD, WE HAD A FANTASTIC LUNCH WITH AN EVEN MORE FANTASTIC PUDDING, AND TO TOP IT WE HAD FANTASTIC ENTERTAINMENT, I HAVE BEEN TO THE THEATRE MANY TIMES AND WATCHED PROFESSIONALS ON STAGE, AND I MUST SAY THE ENTERTAINMENT AT BRIDGES EQUALED IT, THERE WAS LOVELY SINGING, NICE COSTUMES AND COMEDY THAT ACTUALLY MADE YOU WANT TO LAUGH AND NOT LIKE SOME COMICS WHERE YOU FEEL YOU SHOULD LAUGH, THE QUIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF WAS WARM AND FRIENDLY, AFTER THIS VISIT I WAS ASKING AROUND .. ~~ The Bridges ~~ I was introduced to The Bridges a few years ago, when I started going there as one of their mediums for the Psychic Dinners and Suppers. I was really very impressed with the place not only the look, but the good food and atmosphere as well.
