Advantages: Buffet style food
Disadvantages: Poor customer services
Hi
I went to Buffet Island on Saturday evening with my wife and some friends. The service and food was great but the chap dressed in a red jacket who we assume was the manager was quite rude and condescending
We booked a table for 6 but at the last moment 2 of our friends had to cancel leaving only 4 of us.
We arrived and told a waiter who told the manager and he said we should have told him immediately and we would have to sit at a table for 4 . The problem there was that the table would not accommodate my wifes slim wheelchair , I could not sit next to her. The manager did not hide his annoyance at this . After quite a bit of debating with him he agreed, reluctantly, and put us at the original round table for 6
It took the shine off the evening , but as mentioned before the waiters and waitresses and the food was very nice
Summary: Great food
