When i was little i always used to think burger king was better than mcdonalds. I love burger kings happymeals, and found i could get more for my pocket money from burger king than mcdonalds. Taste wise, i dont remember thinking there was much of a difference.

However, since i got older, ive noticed how different burger king is from mcdonalds. For a start burger king restaurants are often much tattier, and havent been renovated or modernised for decades.

Then you have the menu, burger king have the usual burger and chips, but unlike mcdonalds fail to excite the public, and dont bring new ideas out that often. When they do, they are usually rubbish, like the 6 pack, which was just 6 mini burgers in a box.

The whopper used to be my favourite, this is quite a substantial burger, and could be compared to the big mac. For me, ive always liked the whopper, its a tasty burger, and unlike the mcdonalds ones, it isnt loaded with mayonnaise and ketchup.

One thing ive also liked about burger kings burgers, was that they always used fresh tomato, and it does make them seem a little more fresh than processed.

Price wise they are about the same as mcdonalds, but mcdonalds tend to have alot of offers, so often out do burger king.

So me personally, burger king is second place to mcdonalds, and unless it starts to improve in its range and restaurants i feel mcdonalds will completely take over.
