In my opinion, Burger King is the best of the American fast food chains. I know we're constantly being told what we can & can't eat, but I'm big enough to make my own decisions & I personally think the flame grilled burgers are to die for.

The french fries aren't as good as McDonalds - they have an unusual coating which makes them a bit crispier, but they soon go cold & become chewy. However, the taste of the burgers definately more than makes up for that. Another plus is the large portion sizes - you do pay more, but the king size portions are definitely plenty, even if you've got an extremely large appetite.

Some draw backs to Burger King are the prices - they are definitely one of the more expensive fast food outlets, especially at motorway service stations. The Burger King menu as a whole is much more expensive than it's biggest rival, McDonalds. Also, not many restaurants serve breakfast (and this includes motorway service stations again - which seems really odd?). The Burger King breakfast in America is quite simply amazing, with bite size hashbrowns and ham egg and cheese croissants....they beat McDonalds hands down.

Yes it's unhealthy, yes it's expensive....but what a treat! Worth every penny & calorie in my book....
