Advantages: Bigger Portions.
Disadvantages: Terrible Service., Dearer Prices., Dirty.
I have tried to enjoy a Burger King meal, but I always seem to be disappointed.
It is not that I do not like fast food, we are quite happy to use McDonalds, Kentucky, Spud-u-Like, Chinese takeaway, Fish and Chips and although we know that none of these places are going to provide Cordon Bleu cuisine, we can normally enjoy a quick meal.
About once a year we are tempted back into Burger King, normally because I have started to believe the TV adverts again and think that I am going to get some decent food. Now I must admit that the portions are bigger than at McDonalds, but then the prices are dearer. But, is it better food, well I am afraid not.
As a family we normally want different meals and I do think that Burger King have ever had the whole order ready together. But do they keep the food warm until it is all ready, No! I think after a while the staff at Burger King forget that it is actually food they are serving, that people are expected to eat. The food is put onto the trays as it becomes ready and then there is the long wait until the order is complete.
There also seems to be the occurrence of the disappearing staff. With half of our food on the tray the person serving us always seems to disappear somewhere “around the back”. On their return the rest of the food is thrown onto the tray.
Now, about the tables. I know that this type of fast food outlet is a self-clearing set-up, but surely there still needs to be staff to clear up spills and to keep the floor clean. Every Burger King we have been into looks like a rubbish tip when you look under the tables. Obviously in some cases this rubbish has been there for a considerable amount of time and I am convinced there must some health hazard here.
On the TV adverts the food looks very inviting. On the posters at Burger King the meals look very tasty. It is only when you step inside and submit yourself to their service that everything starts to go w
Let’s hope that this time I can remember not to try again, and to stay away from Burger King.
