Advantages: size, value for money
Disadvantages: the fries
A few years ago (Pre-student lifestyle) I really couldn't tell the difference between Burger King and rival McDonalds.
However, this has since changed!.
The first thing I notice about Burger King is the prices!. More expensive than McDonalds (Although the price of an Extra Value Meal has now changed from £2.99!)
I think that Burger King is quite expensive. However there is a reason for this.
In the average burger meal you get the burger of your choice, fries and a drink. This is the same at McDonalds, but McDonalds is cheaper.
So having said this you would think 'Right then McDonalds it is'. Well maybe not.
There is a reason why Burger King charges more for their products. THE SIZE!
Check out the size of the burger in the Whopper Meal and then the size of the Big Mac. You will be amazed by the difference!
The Whopper comes in a huge box, and you need both hands to eat it with!. The Big Mac comes in a fairly big box, however unlike at Burger King there is room in the box for another burger!.
I think that Burger King is better value for money than McDonalds, and the meal actually does fill you!.
The only downside to Burger King in my opinion is the fries. A few years back they were the same as McDonalds, you know that soggy feeling :-). But this has since changed, with their new coating, that apparently keeps them hotter for longer. In my opinion this REALLY is not the case, and only makes the fries harder as they get cooler.
If you want value for money then Burger King really is the place to be. Just make sure you eat your fries first, once cold they really aren't that edible.
