Ok let's face the facts. Nobody needs to read an op on BK. I mean either you like that garbage or you don't and even if I mustered up a great op you would not get hungry and exclaim, "Honey, do we have 12 pounds to spare, lets go have a special dinner". Really, If you aren't familiar with BK you must live on the moon and the stuff would kill you if you ate it. It is part of our lives not a part of helping someone make good decisions.

So I am reading the paper today and came across the following story in The Sandusky (ohio) register 2nd January 2002 {www.sanduskyregister.com}

Perkins Twp.

Man throws whopper at restuarant manager.

An irate Burger King customer threw his Whopper at a manager monday because he said it did not look like the Whoppers in Billboard pictures.
The 60 year-old Sandusky man then called Perkins Township police to file a Sandwich complaint.
The man told police he ordered a Whopper at about 3 p.m. and it didn't look like teh picture, so he asked the manager to make him another. He did not specify the difference between his sandwich and the picture.
When the second Whopper also didn't look like the billboard picture, he demanded his money back and threw the sandwich at the manager while becomming verbally abusive, the police report said.
The manager gave him his money back, told him to file a complaint with the corporate office and was told he is no longer welcome at the Milan Road restaurant. He was escorted out by employees, the report said.
Police told the man and the restaurant a report would be on file and no charges were pressed.

Is that cool or what? I mean it is about time people stand up for themselves and stop accepting sandwiches that do not look like billboards. And then to get "Escorted out", by some punks is about demeaning as can be. I think I might go start some
trouble over there and see if some $6 an hour punk has as good of a time running me out ofthere as he did this old man.

Bad enough they sell low grade meat that causes rain forests to get chopped down and exploit children with adverts and tie ins to trendy movies that cause the kids to want their rotten food but when a man politely establishes the fact he is unhappy with the product they throw him out.

I eat at the BK by my house since they have $.99 cent whoppers all the time but you have to watch them people because they never know how to set up their fountain pop. And they never give me my marinara sauce with my Mozzarella sticks like they should.
