If you fancy a curry with a difference – be adventurous and check out Café Naz in Brick Lane E1. Brick Lane is the Bangladeshi equivalent of China Town in the West end. Other than the restaurants, it has a host of shops selling Bangladeshi products. These include supermarkets, takeaways and of course travel agents specialising in flights to the Indian-subcontinent. If you have time to wander, check out the stores – it’s quite an eye opener. Getting to Brick Lane is straightforward. Cafe Naz (46-48 Brick Lane, London E1) has provided me with the best Indian meal I have ever had! And that wasn't all that was good... Firstly  was the fact that my group of 7 arrived at the restaurant at 8pm on Sunday evening (prior to the Bank Holiday) yet were seated immediately without fuss or wait.   Firstly the decor of the place is not only impeccable, but very different from the traditional expectation of an Indian restaurant. Rather than the almost seedy over use of fabric and tassels, Cafe Naz sports a clean contemporary look.
