Advantages: friendly staff, nice atmosphere

Disadvantages: space problem

I'm totally in favor of the small independent coffee shops. Not only in London but everywhere. However,it is not always possible to find one-especially if you are new to the "big city".
Nero is certainly the best non-independent of those I have visited. The staff are very friendly and ready for a chat, helpful and cheerful. If you have trouble choosing they will assist you happily.
A certain plus is the water carafes. I've been there on a hot day and a glass of water was what I wanted, while waiting for my coffee.
There is a range of products to choose from but if you go in a hot day get a cold chocolate:Good value for money.
The fact that there seems to be always a space problem isn't as bad as it seems, because normally you are able to find a table to sit in 5-10 minutes. It can be really frustrating however, especially on busy days, but anyway you can't have everything in life...
