It was never going to be good Rats ran across the path as we arrived It may be no smoking - but no attempt to control the smoke blowing in from outside Filthy windows and sticky tables Tatty menus with November offers (Its April) and no specials Awful service - 50mins for a starter and another hour for the mains Gin and tonic in a half pint glass, warm white wine I think they forget who pays the wages - Ramsey would have a nightmare in here - in fairness a young girl who came to serve later was very pleasent obvoiously not trained by the manager who was a 'take or leave it specialist' All really a great pity - it was good ... It was once a good eating place but it's just slid into what was an unpleasant night out, frustrating, disorganised, aloof manager. My Dad left no tip, at nearly 80 that's a first for him.Waited on by numerous people, not one waiter, info right from the start was hard to get and often incorrect. The wait for food and time looking at dirty plates was endless. The promised bread and olive oil dips never arrived and when chased we got 4 slices of white bread with slightly rancid butter. My dauphinoise potatoes were cold on one side - otherwise the food was actually ok. We had a 2yr old with us so had arrived to eat early but it took almost 3 hours to complete the meal - and by the time we got each course we ate fast!

Food doesn't taste great sadly
Great vibe and ambience. Super waterside views. Really friendly service.
Likely to be noisy and very busy. Toilets a bit grim. Service charge.
