The only Chicago Rock Cafe i have been to is in Mansfield so my review is based purely on that branch. Chicago Rock has been in town for about 8 years now and i have been there many times, both in the day and for a night out. ~Daytime~ During the day it is quite quiet and as it is opposite where i work we often frequent there for lunch time staff get togethers. My first night out in ages since having a baby, I was off out around my local town Bury, the third stop was at Chicago Rock, I couldnt quite remember why I didnt like it before when I went out, the music was jumping the place was packed out, everything seemed in order so I couldnt remember why I hated it so much back then. I have been visiting the local Chicago Rock Cafe in Basildon since it opened, not that long ago. At first it was a fun experience, the kids loved the earphones and watching the films and it was very enjoyable. I have found that slowly the service and food has slided downhill, until I now feel it has hit an avalanche. I go to chicagos every monday! and that is the only day i would go cause: Bar Staff are great! Buy one get one free! Sing along songs! Nice surroundings! Ok you know by now that I have a thing about good service, as one or two of my previous ops have shown. Hold tight! I am now about to redress the balance by telling you all about some appalling service I received last year.
