Doesn't costa lot (Costa Coffee)

Advantages: nice and cozy

Disadvantages: not quite starbucks

Costa Coffee has just opened in the town near where i live so i thought i should give them a go, i am a starbucks addict so was sad that the costa people had opened and not starbucks but coffee is a must so in i went, it has a very warm and relaxed atmosphere and as well as the usual table and chairs of cafe's it had low tables and sofa's which were very comfortable and i have to say much cleaner then the ones in my usual starbucks.

I ordered a latte and it came in a tall glass (if you get the biggest one then it comes in a mug) which i wasn't too pleased with i think that coffee should be drunk from mugs not a glass but the actual drink was nice. Not too much caffiene which some of the other stores do and i end up with a headache! The actual drink couldn't be faulted and the presentation with a coffee bean sprinkled onto the top of the drink was a nice touch.

The food was nice too they had a huge selection of sandwiches and toasted sandwiches which were more to eat in but tasted lovely. And if you felt like it there is cake as well. The prices were more then the other unbranded cafe in the town and didn't have a home made feel at all but they tasted nice and the ingredients seemed to be fresh. The selection was good for all ages too.

It was very reasonable at just over five pounds for a coffee and a sandwich - much cheaper then i had expected.

Soo to conclude i will be going again but if i had the choice starbucks still wins hands down!
