Costa Coffee - its the hot chocolates for me! (Costa Coffee)

In my local town there are 3 seperate Costa Coffees alone. Each are a good size, all one story and all kept to a high standard.

Although I may go to all three Costa's every so often, theres always one that is my favouite and I find myself in most. Every sunday there is live music, usually acoustic acts and singers, and there has even been their very of 'Costas Got Talent' with competitions held for the best acoustic acts. This has been great entertainment and often drew big crowds. Some crowds so big infact that there wasnt enough seats for people and would leave many people standing.

The seating is always comfortable, with a lot of arm chairs and sofas around too. These are usually taken up however, usually by myself when I go in. When people leave any empty mugs or cartons on the table they are usually cleared up pretty quickly.

Theres always a friendly atmosphere in the cafe as it is mostly younger people who work there and are happy to help in most cases.

The drink themselves I do feel are just the standard price for a mug of coffee, tea or chocolate. The drinks are the best I've tasted for a coffee shop, compared to Cafe Nero and Starbucks which are also in the local area. I would happily choose Costa over these. However it was quite disappointing to see that my favourite choice, their hot chocolate, is simply made from Cadbury Hot Chocolate that you can buy from any supermarket. Nonetheless its not stopped me going there as the taste is unmatchable.

I personally find the food, like Starbucks and Cafe Nero, expensive for what you get. I only go in for the drinks as the food does seem overpriced compared to any other shops or cafes selling the same.

For the drinks however, theyre always enjoyable and great tasting in a good atmosphere.

Summary: The slogan (7 out of 10 coffee lovers choose Costa), well I'm one of the 7!
