This waitress was unsure of the number of puddings i ordered - apparently 2 until i clarified that just one was enough! Not to mention that she coughed right over my table without covering her mouth! Located smack bang in the middle of Piccadilly Circus (next to Lillywhites) the place was buzzing! I had Sardines to start with followed by a ribeye steak (on the menu as "Ribeye of Aberdeen Angus à la forestière") - the forestière basically means it has mushrooms on top. It was amazing! - really, really good. For desert i had a a wicked choicalate thing...can't remember exactly what but it was awesome...the wine had started to effect!! Last weekend I got the most incredible surprise - two tickets to London, leaving the next day. That's the stuff dreams are made of, I tell you! My wife decided I should celebrate this birthday in style, so she got me these flights to my favourite city in the world, bar none: London. There we met up with my brother, who lives in the city, whose birthday present this year (to my immense luck, there seems to have been a conspiracy to treat me on a grand scale this year! - do they know something I don't?) was a dinner at the Criterion Restaurant.
