Advantages: tasty, filling, lots of choice, big, quick delivery
Disadvantages: expensive if not on offer
I have to admit, I love domino's pizza and it is by far my favourite takeaway chain because you always know what you are going to get. I find with some takeaway places that sometimes you go and the pizza is really good, other times it's not so good and if you are trying somewhere new, you never know what you're going to get! So, I stick to good old tried and tested domino's who also provide me with tasty, perfectly cooked, filling pizzas.
One thing I like about domino's is that you can order online in just a few minutes, you can also order by text or even through your TV if you have sky! I like that you have all these options. You can also choose exactly which toppings you want on and which you want to leave off when you order online, you just have to go on "customise" and you can remove the bits you don't like (onions!) and add more of what you do like (pepperoni!!). You can even choose which kind of sauce goes on the pizza - normal tomato, sundried tomato and garlic or bbq.
There are a range of different sizes from personal to large and there are various different types of base. I usually just go for regular but you can get thin crust or even ones with a double base and garlic and herb sauce in between! The amount of calories in those things must be amazing so I tend to stay away but if you don't care about that kind of stuff, I bet it tastes damn good.
Domino's also offers "starters", you can get potato wedges, chicken dipper things, garlic bread, garlic mushrooms, onion rings and various different types of dips to dip these in. I really like the chicken dippers and the wedges, they aren't soggy as you sometimes get, they are always crispy and have plenty of bite to them.
The pizzas themselves are lovely, plenty of topping and always steaming hot. I have never had any problems with delivery from domino's, they always arrive promptly and are never cold/stale when you get them. I normally order the low fat cheese as it really doesn't taste any different from regular cheese but is obviously a lot lighter. It doesn't cost any extra to have this cheese which I think is great, well done to domino's for offering this option.
The garlic breads from domino's are lovely too, very cheesy and tomatoey - almost like a little garlic pizza but be warned, they are quite small. You only get 4 little tiny slices, but I guess if you are having a big pizza too then it isn't a big deal.
Oh, you can even get desserts at domino's too! You can get chocolate cakes and brownies and things or.... BEN AND JERRYS!! It doesn't get much better than a nice big pizza followed by ben and jerrys ice cream does it?
Price-wise, domino's is very expensive. You will pay more for a pizza from here than you would in most italian restaurants. However, they always have offers on (especially if you don't mind collecting from the store) and they send vouchers out all the time. We have just received loads of BOGOF vouchers and spend £30 and get it half price vouchers which will actually make it a really cheap option.
Summary: I would recommed domino's to anyone looking for a good pizza takeaway place
