Advantages: Very tasty, more authentic than others.
Disadvantages: Not as many toppings as some other brands.
Having grown up on Pizza Hut I really never gave Dominos Pizzas much though, especially as there was none in my area.
Then a few weeks ago we were visiting friends and they suggested getting some Pizza from their local Dominos.
The Pizza was ordered online, and being a Tuesday we got two for the price of one. Delivery took about 30 minutes, which wasn't bad considering we probably ordered at their busiest time.
The choice of pizzas was good and you could make your own if they had nothing that took your fancy. In comparison to Pizza Hut the toppings were limited, but there was something still for everyone. We went for Hawaiian and a meat one whilst friends went for just cheese and tomato.
The Pizza base is very traditional looking and although we had the thicker base it was still only about an inch thick including topping. It tasted much better than others I have tried being slightly crispy was chewy as well. The toppings were ample and tasted pretty good too. The cheese was just right. I love the stuff but hubby is not so keen but both of us were happy.
Each of our large pizzas came with a free dip which I only tasted a little due to it being garlic and me being allergic to it. But that was yummy also.
In all, we were all very impressed with the pizza. Since being home we have ordered from the branch near us. Although the website said they did not deliver to us on phoning the branch they were happy to do so.
We will probably now never go back to Pizza Hut, having tasted what I think is a much more authentic tasty pizza.
Summary: A great tasting pizza for pizza lovers.
