Advantages: They deliver to your door and they always have offers on

Disadvantages: Hugely overpriced for what you get

I am a bit of a pizza fanatic and out of all the restaurants & takeaways I have tried, Domino's have given me the best pizzas by far, and that includes all of those chain restaurants such as Pizza Express and Strada. The standard pizza bases are lovely; nicely crusted round the edges and soft inside. Or you can choose to have a specialised base; thin and crispy, stuffed crust etc (although I've never tried any of these so can't comment on their tastiness). There are no end of topping choices you can have; either choose from the standard menu options or make your own. You can even have a half-and-half pizza for when you can't decide on what you want, although this will add £1 or so to your bill. Each pizza always comes with a free dip, which always seems to be Garlic and Herb. They have others available (Honey Mustard and Sweet Chilli to name two) but you do have to ask for them.

There are four pizza sizes available although I usually find a Medium does for one person with a healthy appetite. When there are three or four of you you'd be okay with two large pizzas, although I've yet to meet someone who can manage a Large all by themselves in one sitting.

There are different ways to get your pizza. You can order over the phone, go into the shop or order online. Then you have the option of having it delivered or going to collect. But when you're spending that amount of money, why not make someone bring it to you? If you get it delivered it can take up to 45 minutes during busy periods. It's usually about a 15 minute wait if you're collecting, so that is the major benefit of that.

I have to say though, as a bad point, that Domino's pizzas are horrendously expensive for what they are. If you can get away with less than a tenner for each person then you're doing really well. They usually have different offers on (although some are online only and some are for collection only) so if there are a few of you eating then you could probably get the costs down by a few quid. But as for eating by yourself - forget it! You're looking at about £15!

If you can deal with the price though then you cannot beat Domino's in terms of taste and convenience.

Summary: I don't accept any other type of takeaway pizza now.
