Just to update this op...Dominos did send me an impressively apologetic letter and a voucher for a free large pizza which I ordered and they delivered on time! Unfortunately, it was not the pizza I had chosen from the menu. But by that time I could see the funny side and could not be bothered to complain again!!

I am writing this op in sheer frustration. I am still very angry about what happened to me the other night.

As a previous reasonably satisfied customer of Domino's Pizza I was feeling lazy so my flatmate and I ordered a pizza. He is a vegetarian so we asked for their Full House but half without meat, also I love anchovies, so I asked for the other half to have extra anchovies. We felt like a drink so we ordered a bottle of coke.

So, one hour later our pizza arrived. The delivery guy forgot our coke so I am quite a chilled person and mistakes can happen and he said he would go back for it so I was quite happy.

I opened the pizza box and guess what? Half vegetarian and the other half.....only anchovies. Nothing else!

Ok, so we are all human, mistakes happen so I decide to ring the branch of Dominos I had ordered from and explain their error. This is the one in Chippenham Road, Queens Park, London.

The man I ordered from by chance answered the phone. Excellent. I explained what had been sent to me. His response? What's the problem sir? So I replied that this was not what I had ordered. He retorted that it was exactly what I had ordered because he took the order himself and he remembers. I was in a state of disbelief. I asked him why he thought I had rung him then? He said he did not know. I repeated what I had asked for, he simply denied that is what I asked for originally.

To cut a long story short, I lost my temper a bit and asked hiim why he bothered having a menu at all of all he was going to do is cook whatever pizza he wanted and if anyone complained he was just going to tell them the
y were wrong. I just couldn't believe he was telling me that I was in the wrong! He offered no apology, was plain rude, and I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager! He refused to replace the pizza surprise surprise, and basically accused me of lying.

I asked for the number of head office which he gave me, and his name, and that was the end of the conversation. The next day I tried the number and he had given me the wrong one! I wasn't going give up, so I went to the website and made a complaint using the email system. 4 days later I have had no reply.

My flatmate and I work in people related industries and would never behave this way to our clients/patients, I was amazed at the attitude of this manager. So much for the customer being always right!

Anyway, the message to my story is that I am now boycotting Dominos and I still can't believe in this day and age of competitive industries such as fast food, there are still morons out there who make customers feel that they owe them something.

Wow! I can't believe a company could be so backwards about sorting out a mistake they've made. I'm sure a big company like Domino's could afford to replace a pizza. I agree with spoilt little br...I might just stick to Pizza Hut!

Thats totally true, i feel with you to! I hate it when stupid customer services people or staff acuse you of being wrong, a great op! Well one
