      I love it!

Dragon's Lair is a Chinese takeaway restaurant located in a mid Wales town called Welshpool. It is located on Broad Street (it has recently located from the high street). One thing which I do not like about its location is the fact that it is located on the side of the road and so there is nowhere to park which is annoying.

~ * What Would You Like To Eat? * ~

There is a varied menu. I am sure that there are hundreds of items to choose from whether you like stir fries, chicken, lamb, beef, pork or duck as well as some vegetarian options.

I am a vegetarian and a very fussy eater, so I tend to just have a vegetable chow mein with a side order of egg fried rice and a side order of chips and gravy. I sometimes have a plain chow mein includes bean sprouts. I love their egg fried rice because they cook it just the way I like it; I don't like onions and so I don't like egg fried rice which includes onions and other stuff. I just like it plain.

The chips and gravy (I know, I don't experiment much do I?) are always really tasty with plenty of gravy.

I love the food here; I think it's so tasty, even if sometimes it feels like its lacking a bit of salt. But overall it's lovely.

      ~ * How To Order? * ~

You can either order by walking into the takeaway and ordering, or you can order by phone. Sometimes I 'walk in' and order and sometimes I call up and then all you have to do after is pay for it and pick it up which saves waiting.

      ~ * Service * ~

Service is generally good. The staff (usually just one person taking the orders) are ok; I wouldn't say they are friendly but they do their job.

      ~ * Prices * ~

Their prices are reasonable. My chow mein usually costs about £3-4 and the chips and gravy cost around £2 and the egg fried rice costs about £2 too. There is always plenty of food and I am always absolutely stuffed after I've eaten it. You definitely get a good amount of food for your money.
I would definitely recommend this takeaway.

      Thanks for reading
