Advantages: Good food, excellent service

Disadvantages: Quite small and popularity means booking advisable

East Beach Cafe is a futuristic looking building right on the seafront of Littlehampton designed to blend in with the landscape and appears to be made out of driftwood. We visited on a sunny but busy day and the floor to ceiling windows gave great views of the beach and think it might even be better on a winters day when the beach is less crowded.
Not cheap and cheerful seaside food you might expect in Littlehampton but offers a variety of fish dishes as well as traditional beer battered cod and chips. The owner/manager couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming even though it was such a busy day, we had to wait 5 minutes for a table although we didn't arrive in the lunchtime rush so booking would be advisable. There is a pay and display car park directly behind the cafe and its well placed to visit the park or walk along the seafront after your meal.
