Advantages: loely fresh food

Disadvantages: a tad expencive

I recently visited Dublin, and during my visit I went to Eddie Rockets on O'Connell Street, in Dublin.
At first glance I thought I was entering a 1950's transport cafe in America. The floor is covered in black and white tiles, with big red chairs and white tables. There are juke boxes on every table, which take a 50p to choose a song (although ours didn't work, and a few other people seemed to be having difficulties). There are also old fashioned sweet machines which take a 20p and you can get mint imperials, jelly babies or smarties. The food in all cooked fresh in front of you, and you can sit at the bar on one of the high chairs, and watch them make your dinner.
The menu has a really good mix of food, drink and deserts etc. There are burgers for everyone, including a ham burger, cheese burger, veggie burger and even a fish burger. They also have a selection of chicken dishes, such a chicken burger, bbq chicken wings, and a chicken salad. Also on the menu is a footlong hotdog, Nachos, and a bikers breakfast. If none of that tickles your taste buds there are sandwiches available, and a wide selection of sides, including chips, onion ring, and garlic mushrooms.
As for drinks they have all the usuals available, I chose a milkshake (which was delicious!) They also have a good selection of deserts available if you're not too full!

As for price Eddie Rockets is comparable to maybe Wimpy, with a burger and chips costing around £9 - £10.

Eddie Rockets is brilliant; I would highly recommend a trip. It's just a shame there is only one in the UK...................

Summary: I can't wait to go back!

Good review, I'd be interested to know what the food is like though! And also, I now have a huuuge craving for onion rings! x

Although there's lots of useful info here I rated U because I really think a restaurant review should also say what the food tasted like
