Advantages: Quick service, value for money, excellent food

Disadvantages: not open all year!

This is an absolutely fabulous restaurant that I stumbled on when on my travels to Cheddar Gorge. They are open 7 days a week all day between March and November. During the peak seasons they can stay open up to 8-45! Which is impressive for the Gorge!

I really don't know where to start as the restaurant was so fantastic. It is waitress service, and very quick! The restaurant it's self is situated on the side of a beautiful river. There are loads of flowers outside and in, making it look picture perfect! In the summer months there are tables outside and I really enjoyed sitting out there with my cream tea looking up at the Gorge!

The inside is decorated really nicely and it feels really homely and comftable. Infact I was told that a lot of the food is home made which shone through and made the meal twice as nice as you could tell that it hadn't just been taken out of the freezer and heated up!

The menu caters for both adults and children, snacks and meals. On the saturday morning I arrived I had a breakfast, 2 hours later I was back for a cream tea! Saturday night I went and enjoyed a steak! I have never been so full in my life!

The food is of a high quality and excellent value for money. For example you can get a VERY filling three course meal for 6-95! I really do recommend it to any one in Cheddar!
