Advantages: loads of lovely grub, excellent value
Disadvantages: none
This is the best oriental resataurant I have ever been to!! Myself and my boyfriend found it by accident one night. We went in expecting a small range of food, nothing special, but it offered a huge selection of Chinese, Japanese, Cantonese, and Malaysian cuisine. There are ver 600 items on the menu all buffet style and for the fixed price of £13.80 you can eat as much as you like. All of the food is changed over about every 20 minutes so there is always something fresh t eat. It is spread over about 6 counters, divided into starters, main courses, vegetarian grub and desserts. There is an excellent selection including aromatic duck and panckaes with black bean sauce, crispy seaweed, sushi spare ribs, and fr dessert banana and apple fritters aswell as huge fruit salads and cake. The Japanese grill is excellent, you select your ingredients and the chef cooks it for you on the spot. The place does hold over 400 people, but if you decide to go on a friday or saturday night go early because it fills up very quickly after about 7.00 pm. There is also no need to book if there are less than 8 of you. Oh and if you do go wear elasticated trousers/skirt so you can eat more!! Excellent food and value for money.

- 15/05/01 For some reason I love chinese take-away, but all I ever order is 2 egg fried rice and a prawn crakcers (veggie ones lol - not really prawn but hey). My gf experiments a little more as she eats meat, but I love my rice. Not going to pay £13.80 for it though. Steve. |
