I have found a dish that suits my taste buds almost as much as a good juicy steak, cooked medium raw, with plain vegetables on the side, potatoes, beans, peas and carrots. But I digress; we’re talking about paella and not about how I am in a high risk CJD category. Del Prado paella is as good as any I have had. Spanish food, along with alcohol, sport and charming women, is one of the great joys in life. Del Prado restaurant in Fulham is a fine example of the genre and truly a culinary venue to behold. Since discovering Del Prado two months ago I have been back on two subsequent occasions, just to make sure my initial opinion was not mistaken. I can assure that if anything the meals have continued to improve. My tastes, when it comes to Spanish food are relatively simple – Paella, paella, paella and perhaps a little more paella.
