I took ten people to Arbuckles in Stoke on a busy Saturday night. We were shown straight to our table, our order was taken quickly by a friendly waiter called Steve (curiously he wore a badge identifying him as 'Jo'). Starters arrived within 10 minutes, were nice enough and were what we had ordered; nothing missing or muddled. When ... Read the complete review

Fatty Arbuckles American Diners are totally committed to two major principles: 1. Customers should be provided with all round value for money that cannot be beaten. 2. Anyone eating at Fatty Arbuckles will enjoy the experience so much that they will want to return again and again. ... Read the complete review

I've had good experiences at Fatty's before, and last night I thought I'd go again, since I haven't been for over two years. I had a few friends with me who were both first time Fatty eaters, so we decided to go for it. I arrived at the site in Festival Park, Stoke, about 9pm, and the first thing I noticed was the ... American Diners are ten a penny these days, springing up at most major 'Entertainment Parks' (Cinema/Bowling/Diners/etc). Fatty?s as a chain therefore has a certain appeal, but it is not bearing up well against some good competition who appear to be able to do it that little bit better. I've so far been to 3 Fatty-Arbuckles, ... Read the complete review

Our annual visit to Alton Towers this year, was, bravely on my part to be a two day event, naturally including an overnight stay for a very cheap price at the Moat House Hotel, Stoke-on-Trent. However, the price did not include an evening meal, and with a Doctor Who convention taking place simultaneously (yes, there were Daleks walking ... Read the complete review

When you walk into a restaurant or diner I was under the impression that the you waited to be seated, browsed the menu, maybe had a drink and ordered, consumed the food maybe, paid your bill and left a happy punter. It seems that Fatty Arbuckles at Valley Park Croydon, don't actually believe in the taking the order bit... Christmas ... Read the complete review

Basically, Fatty Arbuckles is an American Diner, inside they have plenty of eating space and the tables are set out very well and they have smoking and non smoking tables. They have a very good menu; they prepare food like Burgers, vegetarian meals e.g. Caesar salads and pasta dishes etc.. They also have chicken, fish and the always favorite in ... Yeah it’s another one of those sweet American diner joints! A quick glance at the inviting outside menu revealed a fair variation of typical meals for typical prices. Why is it in the U.K there is no one that truly undercuts to a great degree on price? Where this does occur you can bet you’re probably talking pennies in ... Read the complete review

Used to be called Fatty Arbuckle's, but they've now dropped the "Fatty" - which is a good move, I think. It has to be said, the surroundings are not all that pleasant, at this branch at any rate (busy roads in Salford Quays, and not far from Old Trafford), but inside is fine. I enjoyed the food very much. It's ... Read the complete review
