Fiume I was recently at a leaving "do" and because the meal was immediately after work and this restaurant was close by, a table for about 20 people was duly booked early evening. The restaurant, Fiume is situated with The River bar under the restaurant, is close to the river Wear, and has plenty of off road parking .It has been trading for 15 years so should have plenty of experience. The building itself is quite uninspiring being a modern 2 storey building with a bar on the ground floor- this was already busy early evening mid week but it was just before the Christmas.
