Five degrees has been a haunt of mine for the last 5 years therefore i feel that i can give a rather proficient review. The atmosphere is relaxed and the decor is contemporary great for relaxing in for a hot cup of coffee or an evening out with friends. The seating ranges from tables and chairs to comfy leather sofas. The restaurant frequently has special offers and a healthy student discount (20%) making meals there an affordable option for all.
The food itself is generally proportioned and you can be assured that you wont go out hungry as the menu caters for all tastes and eating habits. The food ranges from tapas to share with friends to posh pub grub (from local Cumberland sausages and mash to steaks). There are also a number of vegetarian options and seasonal specials. The menu is also locally scored where possible. Prices for food range from £5 to £14 for a snack/meal although a recent promotion ran main meals for £5 on a Monday night which was an absolute bargain!
On a negative side, i have found alcoholic drinks to be on the pricier end of the scale for Falmouth and the food hit and miss on quality but despite this i still keep returning as the atmosphere more than makes up for it. Also the large tables mean that groups can happily eat and chat together without feeling as though they are inconveniencing others.
Contemporary and relaxed dining and drinking.
