This was the first Gordon Ramsay-helmed restaurant we had the pleasure of going to. We had heard from numerous sources that, in terms of value for money, this was the best option under the Ramsay umbrella. We thus made the trek out to the restaurant (its address is in Chelsea but it's very much on the border) for Sunday lunch. I recently visited Foxtrot Oscar for the third time and again had an amazing evening. The food was fantastic, and the menu gives a lot of choice. When we were there the starters included a winter vegetable salad (unbelievably tasty!), prawn cocktail, and pumpkin soup to name just a few. For mains we had the classic rib-eye steak with béarnaise sauce (lovely), and the bread and butter pudding to finish, which is a must! Foxtrot Oscar makes this part of town worth living in. I live down the road and go to foxtrot maybe 3 times a week on average, I know the menu off by heart and it never tires me. The selection is fabulous from American food, club sandwich, eggs benedict, great hamburger, to good old british, sausages and mash... there's also mediterranean food with mozzarella and tomato salad with a delicious vinaigrette. The service is very friendly and young, so it attracts hip young professionals to the golden oldies who like to have a nice bit of foo while they read the sunday papers or watch the races.
