FRANKIE & BENNY'S NEW YORK ITALIAN RESTAURANT'S AND BARS My wife and I have just returned from a lovely lunch and so I thought that I would share my experiences with you. We had been visiting relatives in Lancashire and called in the Frankie & Bennie's restaurant that is near the promenade in ... Read the complete review

I love Frankie and Benny's, I have to say, and I've never had a bad meal or time there yet. My favourite one is the one at St Anns Square in Manchester. It's only small compared to a lot of the others which tend to be based in retail complexes, cinemas etc, but it does seem to have extra seating/function room upstairs. The atmosphere is great, I'm ... Read the complete review

I went to Frankie and Benny's a couple of days ago for a late lunch/early dinner and was quite disappointed. Although I prefer independent restaurants to large chains, some provide good quality service and delicious food. However I felt that Frankie and Benny's seemed to be lost in the system of just providing bog standard food at above average ... Read the complete review

I recently visited Frankie and Benny's on a Saturday evening with 2 friends of mine, and absolutely hated it! Our first mistake was that we hadn't made a booking (which was our own fault) so we were directed to the bar to wait for a table. We waited around half an hour in total, which wouldn't have been so bad but a group of 4 that ... Read the complete review

=== History of Frankie & Benny's === Frankie Giuliani was 10 years old when he left Sicily with his parents and moved to New York in 1924. INTRODUCTION Well I've reviewed eateries around the world so I guess it's high time I took a look at my own manor. Perhaps not as glamorous as Vancouver, or as homely as Breda, but Guildford does provide me with a base between forays abroad. Tiring of our overpriced work canteen, I thought I'd try the restaurant more or ... Read the complete review

Frankie Giuliani was 10 years old when, with his Mamma and Papa, he left Sicily for New York in 1924. Within a year Papa had opened a family restaurant and by 1953 Frankie had taken over the business...... thats how it started and theyve never looked back! I love Frankie and Bennys! Yes sometimes the service is a little slow at ... Read the complete review
