I have been to my local Frankie and Bennys twice now and both times my main course has ended up going back, the only reason I found myself in there a second time was that a fried had booked a table for their birthday there so it was not my choice and both times the food was hardly warm and not tasty at all. I visited a new Frankie and Bennys a few weeks ago that has opened in York that is near Morrisons and went with my mum my brother and his wife.I have heard other people speak about F&B`s and their experience and I had heard good things and a New York/Italian Resteraunt/Bar sounds good to me. As me and my family got into the entrance it did not take us long before we were seated.We then ordered some drinks and had a look at the menu.While this was happening the lights dimmed and a cake with sparklers came out and everyone sung happy birthday.Bit cheesy but as long as it didnt happen to me and get embarassed then that was fine with me. After a surprise payment last week, I decided to use some of the extra money to give the younger sister a bit of a treat and whisked her off for a meal out at Frankie & Bennie's. Frankie & Bennie's is an American-Italian chain. That means if, like the younger sister, you enjoy pizza and pasta there's plenty for you, but there's also a good selection for folk like me who prefer big chunks of meat.
