we've just returned home after visiting frankie and bennys at TRENTHAM, what a dissappointment!!having been to the restuarant at christmas time when it was newly opened we returned to find people waiting for service all around the restuarant in dispair!! We were taken to our booked table which was only set for two and not three, we then sat and browsed the menu for five minutes and were ready to order, however 25 minutes later we had not even had a drinks order taken... we collared a young waitress who took the order, and then waited a further 15 minutes for the drinks which only arrived after we inquired about there where abouts!! The starters took an additional 10 minutes! After finishing the starters we then tried to get the attention of a waitress to order more drinks, however after waiting 10 minutes to no avail, i decided to fetch my own drink from the bar!! We waited and waited an eventually we collared another member of staff to find out what was happening with our main course, it then magically appeared!! however although my fries, tomato and mushroom was piping hot my steak was luke warm. Terrible service!! overall the food was tasty, but at the cost of a good restuarant this is not value for money. we took our three year old for her tea after nursery and she was asking to go home to bed half way through, she had had enough, we arived there at 4.40 and left at 7pm she is normally in bed at 6.30 !! we will not return and certainly not reccomend this venue.......
