Frankie and Bennys is a chain of italian/american restaurants. They usually have restaurants near cinemas, bowling alleys or other leisure or shopping complexes.

The restaurants are nice (as far as chain restaurants go anyway) they are clean and tables are spaced out well. The staff are polite and helpful although a little busy at certain times of the week, namely friday and saturday nights.

At the minute they are doing a summer offer with 2 courses for £9.95. This is available 11am - 11pm every day except Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The menu for this is good and there is enough choice so that almost everyone would be able to find something they liked.

Franky and Bennys is child friendly with high chairs, childrens menu and games packs. They are also committed to raising money for childrens charities which is good.

I like the food at Frankie and Bennys and although a chain it does seem to be reasonably homemade. The drinks are a little on the expensive side for my liking but thats my only niggle about this place. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a quick fix after a game of bowling or a visit to the cinema.
