Pretentious and un-American welcome (Frankie & Benny's)
Member Name: Caro Jones
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Eating alone is not viewed valuable to the restaurant I tried to get breakfast at Frankie and Benny's in Terminal 2 , Manchester Airport. The restaurant wasn't busy but the Greeter was not at the front desk.Eventually she seated the family of 5 in front of me but When it was my my turn I was told I had a 20 minute wait.I was stunned and said I wouldn't wait. You can't say that to people in airports! As I hovered in shock I was disgusted to see that a family who wre behind me were immediately seated. So it is obvious that my likely spend of £10 or less was dropped in favour of a better financial gain from a larger party. In that sense it is nothing like an American style eatery as the Greeters and Servers in American restaurants fall over themselves to please you, even if it's only burgers and chips. As to the food-I never found out. Summary: Won't be back |
