We love to go to Frankie and Bennys occasionally for a treat. We don't have one in our town so travel to the next town.

Frankie and Bennys is a fantastic restaurant offering various types of cuisine including Italian, American & English. The menu has a wide selection of starters, main courses & desserts. They offer various drinks from wine to cocktails & soft drinks to beer so something for everyone.

Although the restaurant can be very expensive it is well worth the money and they off various meal deals at reduced prices. Having said that, reduced prices mean reduced selection from the menu.

A lunch menu is available from 11am-5pm Monday-Friday with a good choice of dishes. You can opt for 2 or 3 courses and this starts from £7.95 so very reasonable.
There is no set menu at night except during the winter as far as i am aware so meals tend to cost more at night time.
The kids menu is good value, £3.95 for a main meal, dessert, juice & a goody bag so i recommend this.

I switch between a few time dishes everytime i go but i do recommend the following

starter - sticky wings with the mayo dip (you will get in a mess with these but so good)
main meal - mixed grill platter which is steak, sausage, ham & chicken with sides (this is a large very filling meal so i wouldnt recommend a starter before it!)
or
mahattan burger with chips - lovely juicy burger
dessert - vanilla or banana cheesecake - made to perfection

Frankie & Bennys is a fab restaurant to visit but should be kept as a treat due to the expense. The service is good though when very busy it can be pretty slow. We went one Saturday night and we were in an hour before our main meal came.

All in all i would recommend it!
